A Personal Story
This is my on-going personal story of how the Whittington Hospital treated my complaint. And then lied to cover up.
Hospital Complaint Rules & Guidelines.
All Ignored by The Whittington Trust.
01-Complaint.
02- Complaint Response.
03-Responce rejected.
When you make a complaint.
What should happen.
I rejected the trusts response.
The NHS Guidelines state that a complaint should be responded to with 3 days of receipt.
I made my complaint via PALS, who acknowledged the complaint, They passed it on to the surgery manager, but then nothing happened, for 4 months even though i was constantly chasing the complaint.
They only replied after being ordered to do so by the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
The complaint should be investigated and a full written response should be made within 30 days. In extremely difficult cases the trust is allowed up to 60 days to respond.Mine was not a difficult case.
My complaint was ignored and only responded to after the Trust was ordered to respond by The Parliamentary Ombudsman.
After being ordered to respond by the Parliamentary Ombudsman, the Trust finally did respond, whoever, out of the roughly 10 points I complained about, they responded to 1. So I rejected the response and asked them to fully investigate properly looking at all the issues I raised.
